A Note from the Photographer: Often times I am asked if I am able to document a Surgical Birth or Emergency C-section. Although being present in the OR is dependent on your provider, more and more practices are beginning to allow "Family Centered Cesarians" This may include the ability to have an additional support present during the surgical birth of your baby! (A Photographer!) I loved documenting LaTrivia and Earls birthing story at Emory Hospital in Decatur. LaTrivia was a VBAC client, so I immediately bonded with her and was excited to support her along this journey. LaTrivia's story includes birthing photos AND video. If you haven't considered Videography, you may be surprised to see how these still images come to life and even in the event of a Cesarian, how your story can still be told - even when I am asked to put my camera down.
